Dental Crowns and Bridges

Restore strength and appearance to damaged teeth

What Are Dental Crowns?

A dental crown is a custom-made cap that covers a damaged tooth, restoring its shape, strength, and appearance. Crowns protect weakened teeth and can last 15 years or more with proper care.

When You Might Need a Crown

Crowns are recommended for teeth that are severely decayed, cracked, broken, or weakened after root canal treatment. They're also used to cover dental implants or anchor dental bridges.

What Are Dental Bridges?

A dental bridge literally bridges the gap created by missing teeth. It consists of artificial teeth anchored to the natural teeth on either side of the gap, restoring your smile and preventing remaining teeth from shifting out of position.

The Process

Creating a crown or bridge typically requires two appointments. At the first visit, we prepare the tooth, take impressions, and fit a temporary restoration. At the second visit (usually 2-3 weeks later), we fit and cement your permanent custom-made crown or bridge.

Materials and Aesthetics

We use high-quality porcelain and ceramic materials that match the colour and translucency of your natural teeth. Your restoration will be virtually indistinguishable from your surrounding teeth.
