I'm Dr Lara Phillips, and Form Dental is something very personal to me. I was born and bred in Cambridge and have lived in Great Shelford since I was seven years old. After studying dentistry at Cardiff University for five years and graduating with honours, I returned to Stapleford and worked in Cambridge as a dentist.

Great Shelford and Stapleford have always been important places for me, so my husband and I decided to set up a local, family run, independent dental practice. We wanted to create a space where people could experience dentistry in a more thoughtful and comfortable way. Our aim is to provide care in an environment that feels calm and reassuring.

Form Dental has been designed to feel like a home away from home. The lighting is gentle, the features are soft and the atmosphere is as relaxed as possible. Many patients find that overly clinical spaces bring back memories of more anxious visits, so we worked hard to avoid that feeling. Instead, the practice has a warm, quiet character that helps you settle in from the moment you arrive.

We also chose to keep the practice small. With only two clinical rooms, it never feels busy or overwhelming, and it means you can expect focused attention from our team throughout your visit.
