Dental Bridges

Replace missing teeth and restore your complete smile

A dental bridge literally bridges the gap created by one or more missing teeth. It's a fixed restoration that uses adjacent teeth as anchors to support a replacement tooth (or teeth), restoring both function and aesthetics to your smile.

What is a Dental Bridge?

A dental bridge consists of one or more artificial teeth (pontics) held in place by dental crowns attached to the teeth on either side of the gap. Bridges are permanently cemented in place and function just like natural teeth.

Types of Bridges

We offer several types of bridges to suit different needs: traditional bridges (anchored to teeth on both sides), cantilever bridges (anchored on one side only), and Maryland bridges (bonded to the back of adjacent teeth). We'll recommend the best option based on your specific situation.

Benefits of Bridges

Dental bridges restore your ability to chew and speak properly, maintain the shape of your face, prevent remaining teeth from shifting out of position, and distribute bite forces evenly. They also provide an excellent aesthetic result, matching your natural teeth.

The Bridge Process

Getting a bridge typically requires two appointments. At the first visit, we prepare the anchor teeth, take impressions, and fit a temporary bridge. At your second appointment (usually 2-3 weeks later), we fit and cement your permanent custom-made bridge.
