Why Custom Mouthguards?
Custom mouthguards are made from impressions of your teeth, ensuring a precise fit that stays securely in place. They're more comfortable than generic "boil and bite" guards, easier to breathe and speak with, and provide better protection because they're designed specifically for your mouth.
Who Needs a Mouthguard?
Anyone participating in contact sports (rugby, hockey, martial arts) or activities with risk of falls or collisions (cycling, skateboarding, horse riding) should wear a mouthguard. We also see increasing demand from gym-goers who clench during weightlifting.
Types of Mouthguards
We offer single-layer guards for low-impact activities and multi-layer laminated guards for high-contact sports. We can also create mouthguards in team colours or custom designs. For children, we account for growing teeth and can advise on when replacements are needed.
Care and Replacement
Rinse your mouthguard with cool water after each use and store it in a ventilated container. Bring it to your dental appointments so we can check its condition. Mouthguards typically need replacing every 1-2 years, or sooner if damaged or if your teeth have changed.

Geeta explained everything in detail after an examination of my teeth that was probably the most explorative check I've ever had in all my years. No hard sell and a genuine authentic explanation of my teeth (and related oral health). High tech equipment and no uncomfortable processes to map teeth and gums. In my views this is a totally professional service that's almost worth looking forward to.

Wonderful experience at Form Dental from start to finish. Welcoming receptionist in a calm, tranquil environment, followed by the most informative, caring yet professional hygienist appointment with Teresa, that I have ever experienced. So attentive to individual needs and concerns, including demonstration of correct flossing and brushing techniques. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Gita (Dentist) is by far the best I have come across, takes time to explain all you need to know and with genuine care, and of course Andrea (assistant) also top notch.
