Tooth stains can make your smile look dull and aged, even with good oral hygiene. We offer professional stain removal treatments that can effectively eliminate surface stains and deeper discolouration, revealing a brighter, more vibrant smile.
Types of Tooth Stains
Extrinsic stains (on the surface) are caused by coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco, and certain foods. Intrinsic stains (within the tooth) can result from medications, fluorosis, trauma, or aging. The type of stain determines the most effective treatment approach.
Professional Cleaning
For surface stains, professional cleaning using Airflow or traditional scaling and polishing can make a significant difference. This removes tartar and plaque along with surface staining, often revealing noticeably whiter teeth underneath.
Whitening Treatments
For deeper or more stubborn staining, professional whitening may be recommended. This penetrates the enamel to break down stain molecules within the tooth. It's particularly effective for aging-related yellowing and many types of intrinsic staining.
Other Options
For stains that don't respond to cleaning or whitening (like severe fluorosis or tetracycline staining), veneers or dental bonding can provide an aesthetic solution by covering the stained teeth with natural-looking material.

Geeta explained everything in detail after an examination of my teeth that was probably the most explorative check I've ever had in all my years. No hard sell and a genuine authentic explanation of my teeth (and related oral health). High tech equipment and no uncomfortable processes to map teeth and gums. In my views this is a totally professional service that's almost worth looking forward to.

Welcoming receptionist in a calm, tranquil environment, followed by the most informative, caring yet professional hygienist appointment with Teresa, that I have ever experienced. So attentive to individual needs and concerns, including demonstration of correct flossing and brushing techniques. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Recently found this dentist and from walking in the welcome, the service and as you are leaving all is 10 out of 10. Gita (Dentist) is by far the best I have come across, takes time to explain all you need to know and with genuine care, and of course Andrea (assistant) also top notch.
