Laura Hobbs

Laura is a highly experienced Dental Hygienist with over 20 years' experience across both private and NHS dentistry, working in a variety of clinical roles. Originally qualifying as a Dental Nurse in Cambridge, she went on to further her education at the University of Essex, graduating with a First Class Honours Foundation Degree in Oral Health Science.

With a strong focus on periodontal care, Laura has advanced training in laser assisted periodontal therapy, utilising both Er,Cr:YSGG and Diode 940nm technologies. This enables her to provide precise, minimally invasive treatment with enhanced clinical outcomes and optimal patient comfort.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Laura is also trained in Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), teeth whitening, and facial aesthetics. She is the current Eastern Regional Representative for the BSDHT and remains actively engaged in the latest developments in periodontal treatment, ensuring her patients benefit from the most up-to-date and effective care.

Laura is known for her calm, professional approach and her ability to put patients at ease. She is dedicated to delivering a high standard of care with a gentle, empathetic touch, supporting patients in achieving and maintaining long term oral health.

Outside of the practice, Laura enjoys yoga, spending time with her daughter, and exploring the Norfolk coast.
